South African Rural Architecture

Leaving Natal and entering the Orange Free State, or the Free State as it is more correctly known these days, my journey began to drift into older and more established regions of South Africa. The Free State is an agricultural province, and from here I move into the Eastern, Western and Northern Cape, older still. I found that I began to encounter small roadside towns with snatches of old colonial and even earlier architecture, and I thought the best way to showcase this would be to build a gallery under the general title of South African Rural Architecture. I will update it as the journey continues, so enjoy.
